In addition to the big update and the start of the Scorched Earth event in Hunt: Showdown 1896, you can also get some new Twitch Drops for watching on the Twitch streaming platform.
When are the Twitch Drops active?
The promotion starts on August 16, 2024 and runs until August 22, 2024.
- Start: Friday, 16th of August 2024 , 5 PM CEST
- End: Friday, 22th of August 2024, 5 PM CEST
You can get these Twitch Drops
There are a total of three types of Twitch Drops for Hunt: Showdown that you can get during the campaign:
- Legendary skins for weapons & items
- Legendary Hunter Skins
- Supply crates
You can receive one skin and up to three supply crates per day (for 60min, 120min and 180min of watching).
The time you have to receive the drops always runs for 24 hours, from 5pm CEST to 5pm CEST the next day.
After that, you cannot receive the items retrospectively.
- August 16, 2024: “Roe Stalker” (Knife)
- August 17, 2024: “Hera’s Gift” (Charm)
- August 18, 2024: “Alley Cat” (Bornheim No. 3)
- August 19, 2024: “Moondial” (Charm)
- August 20, 2024: “Storied Past” (Quad Derringer)
- August 21, 2024: “Swallow’s Tail” (Centennial)
- August 22, 2024: A random, legendary hunter
- Lulu, Kill Buyer, Billy Story, Steel Eyed, The Infected or Umpire’s Bane
What if I already have a skin?
If you already own the skin for the respective day, you will receive a similar skin from a selection determined by Crytek as a replacement.
If you also have all the skins from this replacement list, you will receive 5000 Hunt Dollars in the game.
What’s in the supply crates?
You will receive the crates if you watch a participating streamer during the Hunt: Showdown for a certain amount of time.
However, you will not receive the crate itself, but a selection of items that will be credited to you after your next in-game login.
So don’t expect a crate item in your inventory, you will simply have more items.
The following items may be included:
- 1 random pistol
- 1 Random Shotgun
- 1 random rifle
- 1 random special weapon
- 3 tools or consumable items
- Random amount of Hunt Dollars
How to get the Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops in August 2024
To get the Twitch Drops, you only need to complete a few steps before you can watch and collect minutes:
All you have to do is connect your Twitch account to your Hunt: Showdown account on Steam, PlayStation or Xbox.
- Visit the page to connect the accounts: Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops
- Click on the “LINK ACCOUNT” button.
- Select your platform – Steam, PlayStation or Xbox
- You will then need to authorize the Twitch connection to your account again.
- You will then see your connected account.
Then all you have to do is wait for the promotion to start, log in to Twitch and watch one of the participating streamers to receive Twitch Drops!
You will then find the items in your Twitch inventory, where you have to redeem them.
There you can also check how far your minute progress is for the respective day.
