As part of the current TwitchCon San Diego, developer Battlestate Games has announced a “Free Weekend” for the spin-off Escape from Tarkov: Arena.
We have compiled all the information you need.
How long can you play for free?
The free trial period runs from Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11am BST until Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11am BST.
What is Escape from Tarkov: Arena?
Escape from Tarkov: Arena combines mechanics such as gunplay, armor system, wound system and movement from the hardcore survival shooter with classic shooter game modes based on games like Counter-Strike or Call of Duty.
In addition to classic team deathmatch modes, there are also modes that focus on planting a bomb or capturing territories.
However, you don’t level up weapons like in a Call of Duty, but collect experience points for your class tree by unlocking fixed loadouts that you play with.
You can also customize individual elements later on.
A new feature is the link between Escape from Tarkov: Arena and the base game Escape from Tarkov. Not only do you level up the various character stats for your PMC character in the spin-off, but you can also transfer experience points and currency.
